Born in 1975 outside of Atlanta, Georgia, Jed Warnock spent twenty-seven and a half years in the Army prior to his retirement. During his lengthy career, he was awarded the Bronze Star, and he is a recipient of the Purple Heart. Jed wishes to share his story of resilience and healing when faced with the unspeakable, the suicide of his son. He hopes his family’s story will encourage those on the brink of making a deadly decision to choose life over death. Jed and his family reside outside of Savannah, Georgia where he can usually be found throwing a fishing line into coastal waterways or exploring old battlefields across the American South. Jed has a Master’s degree in Operational Studies from the United States Army’s Command and General Staff College, a Master’s of Business and Organizational Security Management from Webster University and a Bachelor’s of Science in Criminal Justice.
